So, will the Habs rise to the occasion and raise their level of play to match their opponent's, or fail miserably and get blown out? Stay tuned.
Who are they rumored to trade to Detroit this time?
DD, Emelin and a second for Pavel.

The wings are not getting nearly the credit they deserve. In terms of skill level up front, they are as dangerous as they come in the east, and a team that has been able to streak hard without their #1 goalie is a feat in itself.
This is another one of those statement games, and the habs have a streak of their own going in these types of games.
W at Boston 3-1
W vs caps 1-0
W in NYR 1-0
W vs Nash 2-1
W vs NYI 6-4
OTL vs pens 2-1
L vs Tampa 4-2
So that's 5-1-1 in statement games in this calendar year. It's also an indication to me that there are multiple "big game" players on this roster. Players that play above their usual standard when the spotlight is on.
This bodes well for a playoff run.
You forgot the best one. Habs beat the Pens 4-1 in Pittsburgh. Jan 3rd. With Crosby, Malkin, Letang, Kunitz, Perron in the lineup.
