Brett Lernout
Simon Bourque
Michael McNiven

FAQ
Q: Why are we re-doing this if we already voted for the #1 prospect?
A: A few of the posters thought it would be a good idea to wait until the development camp was over and I agreed. We had a good chance to evaluate them and can vote better now.

Q: Why is Mete on this list?
A: Two part answer: he's waiver illegible and a good chance he might be in the AHL next year so not fully graduated

We should've just stayed with our original top 3. Nothing changes because of the camp as far as that goes.

Common sense man!

He was not at the development camp because he is not a prospect any more.

Some people want to re-evaluate after camp, and that's fine, but get Mete off this list!!

It's embarassing, he's "competing" against others with his skates literally tied.

If Kotkaniemi is not our best prospect we are in deep **** trouble.

If Kotkaniemi is not our best prospect, then it would mean that we have another tremendous prospects under our hands, no?

And hence, we wouldn't be in deep shit if that were the case ?

It's more the other way around to me. What we ideally want is MANY great prospects and if some are better than Kotko, then great! For example, if we still had Sergachev, we would not want him to NOT win a Norris.

Or if Kotko turns out to be a great second liner, but Poehling a strong first liner, again all good!

HF's old rule when they ran the prospects site was that approximately 50 NHL games meant a player is not a prospect.

Victor Mete played 49 already.

I don't think he's a prospect.

He played 49 games because they couldn't send him down in the AHL, I get why he is included.
