Why does Desharnais always wait that extra half second to start skating back when he is in the offensive zone? He has such a basket hanger mentality. I guess he figures he's got another ten-game reprieve because he made a nice pass to Patch just before.

To be honest, and fair, it's not like DD is malicious about it - I think it's more like he just doesn't have that last competitive gear in him. He's terrible in the playoffs too, don't forget.
