Not gonna crap on the team for this loss. Their 4th game in 6 nights and the 2nd of a back top back against a rested team. Looks like the lads just ran out of gas tonight. Can't win them all.

Not taking anything away from Hart, but they just didn't have it. You could tell fairly early on.

On to the next one.

I wouldn't either.
But it seems they were never where they ought to have been. It didn't look like a case of no legs.

And he fumbles. A lot more than people would like to see.

No one's going to coddle the millionaire athlete. Even if he is...enigmatic.

So then why doesn't Gallagher get any heat for the pretty abysmal season he is having and the multiple giveaways he makes every game?

Habs sucked after the 1st. Hart was good but didn't need to be great.

Kind of a low key boring game.

None of our forwards seemed interested in doing much.

Oh well B2B, 4 in 6, they have 3 days off now to rest up for Arizona.

The hate for Drouin on this board is insane.

I don't get it either. This board *****es and moans about the lack of skilled players. Then when we get one, he is universally **** on constantly.

He got 3 points at even strenght in his last 16 games and that include an empty net goal.

Needs to do more, that's all.
Nobody can say that it's enough

He should. He looked like **** tonight as well. But truth be told, one of the two is the so called skill guy, yet the other one leads the team in goal. Doesn't really help his case with the fans.

Yeah I'm kind of okay with it. Win on Wednesday going into the break and it'll be fine.

So thats good enough from him and it would be wrong to expect anything more, is that what you are saying here?

No...the point is to recognize what he's good at (creating turnovers, creating offense, creative passes and dangles) and what he isn't (giving the puck up a lot, not a great finisher, not consistent effort). And instead of you know, bashing everything he does poorly, being a little more balanced.

Galchenyuk coming up on Wednesday, with his dad in the stands holding a megaphone.

That seems like a silly stat. He also has 8 points in his last 16 games...that's not great, but not especially bad either.

This home bullshit is not going to cut it. 7 in a row at home. If they don’t go on a run, they could miss the playoffs

It's because he was brought to be an impact 1st line winger and, thus far, he's been much more of a complimentary top 6 contributor.

At 5.5, it's not a problem per say... Just that for 725k more we could've had a better player and kept sergachev.

Not his fault, but the frustration is understandable
