Time to turn the page on the 2015 Tank folks. Possibly the last game we'll ever see for a large part of this team in Leafs jerseys.

Leafs lineup

Jonas Siegel @jonasTSN1050
Leaf defence: Brewer-Phaneuf. Gardiner-Rielly. MacWilliam-Erixon. Goalie: Bernier.

Jonas Siegel @jonasTSN1050
Projected Leaf lines: van Riemsdyk-Bozak-Kessel. Panik-Kadri-Lindstrom. Lupul-Holland-Bailey. Booth-Sill-Orr.

BOB COLE PbP!

Would like the Leafs to come out and just demolish the Habs tonight. Hopefully this is the last we see of at least half the core. Perhaps they could give 100% just for old times sake.

It will be fun to root for a win, that's for sure.

And what period of time would that be?

It's never happened...

Humiliate the Habs.

Kadri with a toe-drag for the ages to go top cheese on Price.

Kessell with a hatty!

Bozak 75% in the circle with 3 assists!

JVR with the ultimate between-the-legs flick over Prices' shoulder goal.

Phaneuf with a blast that shatters Subban's cup for the deflected goal!

Gardiner circles the net five times and scores this time!

Rielly gets low and drives the puck like Bumble Bee!

Komarov climbs into the bleachers and plays the organ!

Booth misses an open ice check!

Lupul shaves!

Bernier stops the long bouncer!

And Colton Orr runs Price for one last time in the NHL - tears...

:yo::nod::sarcasm:;)

This is the end of THIS tank. I think they end up tanking next year too. That's a whole another conversation though.

So depressing that tonights likely the only day in the next ~500 days where I'll be hoping for a Leafs win and cheering them on (well, next year I'll still probably be rooting for them even though I shouldn't be... Can't help it :p)

It is an end of an era, a wasted era. Not sad like the days when Sundin, McCabe and co. were broken up, this team really never was anything other than pretenders. Only a lockout shortened season allowed them a playoff berth before the annual ~55 to 82 game swoon could happen.

Agreed the first line or Lupul can't screw the team's future anymore by going full Boyd Devereaux tonight so they probably will just mail it in instead. Perhaps a guy like Booth or Panik can go nuts and get a hat-trick.

Oh, and Bob Cole is announcing tonight!

Let's hope it's not the last game we hear of him. Although I'm sure he would have announced if he was retiring already

Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

Of the tank that is...
