Convenient timing, didn't even know he was in charge, thought it was Mulder since that's the name I've always read/heard about.

Mulder is the Head surgeon, Lacroix was the Head physician (family physician specialized in sports medicine). They will probably promote/hire another Head physician shortly.

I wish it was Dan Lacroix instead

At first glance I thought it was and was pleased. He is quite redundant with Muller back and he has not done his job too well at all. When J.J has to take over running the PP because Lacroix couldn't that's a sign right there. After this season and with the addition of Muller at the very least he should have been let go or moved to somewhere else in the organization.

A thread on a physician leaving? Really?

What happens if one of the zamboni drivers gets non-renewed (cause you know, no one ever gets fired in Habsland). Can't wait for the fallout.

Mulder isn't the sports therapy doc and won't be. It'll be a younger guy, I'm sure. I've dealt with sports medicine docs a lot for my annihilated knee cartilage, the field has changed rapidly.

I don't disagree with anything you said but mostly, Mulder is a general surgeon with a wealth of experience and knowledge in various fields (especially since he worked in an era where medicine specialization was not where it is today) but he is neither a specialist of sports medicine or orthopedics. They'll look for a guy specialized in those.

Perfect timing and it make too much sense.

With Weber coming in the team physician need to be specialized in elderly cares rather than sports medicine. :sarcasm:

My question is will there be enough room for all the coaches?

That's the guy who failed at everything and just kept getting shuffled? Nepotism at its finest.

All the coaches failed at everything and just kept getting shuffled. In the NHL and the AHL
