I already picked all the best players. The only thing I left unchecked is players with wrestling name tie-ins and astrological profiles.

Congrats everyone for this 2015 mock draft, it went pretty well all along. Looking forward to the actual draft and, in the mean time we can post the regroup of our selections, see you in the next one.

Feel free to comment/ Summary in OP!

Thanks to the poster formerly known as TrevorTimmins and everyone who help see this through to the end.

Check back in 5 years for some serious boasting.

Hey, Trevor Timmons changed his user name.

The interesting thing is there are still players I wouldn't mind drafting.

Oh well, hope Habs are able to invite some to their summer camp.

Good draft.

Thanks TT, drat was great. The way you ran it was superb. The details and extra miles you went made it a pleasure. Same time same place next year I hope, starting before the actual draft lottery didn't bother me, actually I found my general interest faded near the end not because of the late rounds but because the weather was warming up and I was spending much less time on the computer. thus the earlier start when the weather was still shiite was nice.

cheers.

But just to avoid confusion five years down the road my team Arizona in the Summary shows that I selected Bradley LaLonde with my final pick, which is true, however someone had already selected him through autopicks so I took Gabriel Slight instead.

Congrats to all participants for this successfull draft, and to the draft commissioner Boyon90/TrevorTimmins.

The draft recap by the :kings2 :

Trades:
- to LA: #60, to CBJ: #76 & #188 (late 2nd vs middle 3rd + early 7th)
- to LA: #48 & #165, to CAL: #45 & 196 (middle 2nd + middle 6th vs middle 2nd -3 picks earlier- + middle 7th).
- to LA: #92 & #152, to BUF: #106 & 136 (early 4th + early 6th vs middle 4th + middle 5th).

Picks:
#15: Oliver Kylington
#48: Roope Hintz
#60: Zachary Senyshyn
#92: Michael Spacek
#152: Veeti Vainio
#165: Pavel Podluboshnov

Pretty average draft :D
I therefore let myself loose in the 6th round, amd went all-world in the weird naming department.

Also, I didn't look to draft Euros primarily. I think it was important to point out since Senyshyn is the only North American in the bunch.

If you picked Veeti Vainio just because of his name I hate you, he was on of my favorites. That'd be a slick draft for LA

It's funny, I avoided most europeans because I had less reports on them and NA guys are easier to follow since they go to the AHL after 1-2 seasons.

(22) Thomas Chabot, St. John Seadogs, LHJMQ, D (+4)
(32) Thomas Novak, Waterloo Black Hawks, USHL, C (-53)
(43) Christian Fischer, U.S. National U18 Team, USDP, C (+11)
(71) Brad Morrison, Prince Georges Cougars, WHL, C (-42)
(101) Thomas Schemitsch, Owen Sound Attack, OHL, D (+13)
(140) Auguste Impose, Genève-Servette U20, Elite Jr. A, LW/RW (ND)

Pretty good results apart for Novak and Morrison was a reach at the time but I believe the pick will look good with time.

Yup, I changed my username a while ago, sorry for the confusion.

The Carolina Hurricanes select, from Ak Bars Kazan in the KHL, defenseman Ziyat Paygin.

5. Dylan Strome went 3rd (+2)
35. Jacob Larsson went 27th (+8)
66. Jakub Forsback Karlsson went 45th (+21)
94. Robin Kovacs went 62th (+32)
96. Brendan Guhle went 51th (+45)
126. Mitchell Stephens went 33rd (+93)
156. Vladislav Gavrikov went 159th (-3)
186. Ziyat Paygin went 209th (-23)
194. Colton White went 97th (+97)

Kovacs and JFK have both been chosen in the 2nd round in the other mock so I guess this is a good sign

+ 272 :amazed:

Well, that went quite well. Way better than the other one at least

6 undrafted players, these gms knows nothing:sarcasm:
serisouly, outside the first round, this has to be the worst draft ive seen in a while

im thinking their might have been some let down due to kids commitments to universities or stuff like that pulling them out of the competition

anyway what does that even mean, +/-? cant tell much until we see how the kids do on the ice right..!
