We're certainly not a lock for even a lottery pick.

We have a young team with skill. The forwards will be fine. If Price is fine, that leaves the D. If Mete, Juulsen and Reilly step up and are solid D, we have a serviceable D core. But still it will be difficult until Weber is back.

I don't even see how he fits in Laval.

Mete, Juulsen, Petry, Alzner, Reilly, Benn, Schlemko, Ouellet, Lernout, Valiev, Taormina, Sklenicka, Moravcik, Lamarche, Culkin, Melancon, and Plant.

Some will end up in ECHL. Some may end up traded. But there are still too many already under contract and there's no room for Depres. And he's not doing anything to warrant one. I know they did it for Gelinas last year. But there wasn't as much depth last year.
