Are you sure you got the start time correct?

I have it as the 1:15 ET start. 20:15 GMT on the iihf site.

Toughest game so far in this tournament for Finland.

Really hope that our D has their feet moving, US has great speed and quick playmakers.

Predicting 5-4 win for Finland.

I'm beginning to sense that Sixpence None The Richer is the DJ's choice for penalty music.

Last year in Prague it was The Jungle Book.

Hopefully this will be the first actual test for team Finland and Laine especially. Predicting an even game, with Finland coming out top with 1 goal.

Starting goalie for Finland is Koskinen, not Saros though.

As long as muricans take penalties, it will be an easy win for us. Laine will do what he does best.

I don't see any reason how the ringos could win. In principle you could think that the Americas should once win over Finlandia but I do not see how.

I don't trust Koskinen one bit. Hoping Saros starts. And I'm hoping these idiotic experiments Jalonen has will stop. Just let the lines play which are clicking.

Koskinen has been confirmed in net already. Saros won't even dress, Bäckström as backup.

Why would Koskinen start his third game in four days? He hasn't even been that impressive. I really don't understand Jalonen sometimes smh

What is wrong with saros?
why did they don`t give him a chance?
did they call him from NA to watch the city?

I think USA wins this 5-2 (Matthews 1+1 and Laine 0+0) what necessarily isn't even a bad thing from finnish pov.

He will probably play 2 games vs weaker countries.(Hungary and France)

we will see but what should he show in this 2 games?

To see Koskinen as clear NO. 1 is terrible for the do or die games.

Very little of what Jalonen does seems to make sense. Much wow.

:handclap:
thats absolutly right.

But we will se what today will happen, some of me wants see they will and some of me wants to see them lose, because if they will win nothing will be changed.

You have to think Laine wins this match-up when you consider his linemates versus Auston Matthews' mates. Barkov alone scored more points last season in the NHL than Schroeder (whole career) and Vatrano combined. This one is going to get very ugly for the US squad IMO. Hopefully Matthews can make it interesting, but i'm not holding my breath. He has very little to work with.
