My personal "recent" one was when Johan Franzen scored an OT goal against preds in 08. In my opinion that was the turning moment for that team. No one remembers it though I guess

97 cup. It was the first time I seen a DET team win any championship. Super invested with the Red Wings flags on my mom's suburban windows. Hats, shirts, just started playing hockey myself, Stanley the octopus from Little ceasers. " I want stanley" song.

SO hyped, what a time to be alive. No one even posted on the internet yet either.
( Though there was those weird chat rooms on AOL that you talked to literal strangers!?!?!? )

Brawl is pretty high up there too... Grandpa was giving wise-owl advice to me as to why this/that happened/is happening that night. lol.

Lidstrom's goal from center ice vs Vancouver that lead to a Stanley cup run after being down 2-0 in the first round also sticks out. IDK why. It was a HUGE goal at the time though.
