Just for information, there will be an exibition match between Czech team that won the Nagano olympics in 1998 and Czech team that won three consecutive world championships in 1999 2000 and 2001. The match will be held in Jihlava at August 30.
Almost all players from the Nagano team will play (including Dominik Hašek). For "Golden hattick" team there will be players like David Výborný, Jaroslav Hlinka or Václav Prospal.

Was there no overlap between these teams? Or how do they decide who is on which?

Sounds like a fun 'old timers' exhibition though.

Mainly the goalies and some skaters. Hnilička will play for Golden hattrick team (he was a 3th goalie in Nagano), Roman Čechmánek will play for Nagano team. Skaters who played for national teams in Nagano and WCHs will play for Nagano team.

Robert Reichel is probably the most notable example. He was a key part of Czech team in Nagano and then at 2000 and 2001 WHCs he was even better (and wore the C)
