Las Vegas was supposed to host both the 2024 NHL Awards and the Draft (as Nashville did last June), but the latter is in jeopardy. There is an event scheduled for T-Mobile Arena the following weekend that owns some contractual flexibility on its dates, and doesn’t want its original spot of July 4. So it may move up a week, which would push the draft elsewhere.

I wonder if they'd consider the MGM Grand Garden Arena? I went to the 2015 Awards show there. I forget if that arena has enough luxury boxes though. Typically each team is given a suite so draftees and their families can hang out and meet team personnel (who aren't involved with the draft).
