Solid. Flames were sharper from the drop of the puck. Gave the GK zero space for the first half of the game. Vegas really didn't do too much, gave us way too many slot chances but had some of their own later on.

Excellent : Markstrom was awesome. Had to work a bit for that shutout but felt pretty early on he had that unbeatable focus going on. Mangiapane and Backlund also played maybe their best games of the season.

Great : Kylington, Andersson, Lindholm the whole Swedish mafia were very strong.

Also great : Gaudreau & Tkachuk these two are so fun to watch. For the love of god do everything you can to retain them. Little too fancy on occasion but when your team is skating like that why wouldn't ya.

Really good : Liked Dube tonight, made some nice steals and was using his speed. Hit the net tho jfc. Hanifin was moving well, used his skating a couple times to escape pressure.
Good: Ruzicka, Lucic, Lewis 4th line hitting everything that moved and playing heavy. Couple adventures in their own zone. ditto Gudbranson

Meh : Monahan some good some bad, couple poor turnovers but nothing too egregious. Zadorov definitely had one egregious one but other than that was alright.

Not good : Perhaps past time to consider not Brett Ritchie.

Wow. Phenomenal game to see after we got home. First meal out in ages w the lady. Her 40th tonight. Hit up the local Keg for some moomoo. Was great.

no the best thing is that Backlund is officially back to being Backlund and not "dude who looks like Backlund but plays like postinjury Monahan"

Suddenly we are solid down the middle woth Backlund and Ruzicka making impacts and Lindholm actually driving play
