Flyers signed Jared Flanagan from SLU. He will be on an ATO this season and a one-year one-way contract next year. Guess the Flyers think he will be an NHL player next year.

A little less flashy then NCAA, but Guelph Gryphons OUAA (CIS) forward Matthew Lyall turned pro after the end of his university season by signing with the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL.
You can read more it HERE.

Lyall completed his fourth year with the University of Guelph and finished second on the team in scoring, after newcomer Andy Bathgate.

If UMass-Lowell D Chad Ruhwedel's contract with BUF gets signed/registered quickly enough the college UFA could be in Sabre lineup today.

In any case, the San Diego, CA, native is going to be a Sabre. Played in USHL before going to UMass-Lowell.
