I think Rantanen and Huberdeau are close, and would probably take Huberdeau today, but Rantanen is over three years younger so I'd take him going forward. I think Connor is a step below the other two. He's a good scorer, but as an overall offensive player, he's never impressed me like the other two despite his numbers.

Huberdeau, now (and it’s close).

Rantanen for the future by the virtue of being several years younger

Which one is that? Both feel like they have a skill set that could work when playing center. Rantanen is bigger so maybe you mean him.

Rantanen played center as a kid, then again in the AHL where he looked pretty damn good and now he played a few games at C in the NHL and looked great.

over Makar?

Makar hasn’t played enough games for that distinction. He was fantastic before he got hurt, but I’d give it to Rants because he’s carried the load offensively and hasn’t missed time.

I could see it being MacKinnon, or Makar by seasons end, but at this point it’s Rantanen for me too.

I don't know if Rantanen is a bull or horse but he is maybe the strongest striker in the league. Reminds me of Forsberg. Hub is crazy good too.

Huberdau is clearly the best player out of these 3 but voted Rantanen becouse he has more prime years left.
