It's still there to disallow goals for sure, don't know if I've seen it in terms of a penalty. I'm sure it is though.

Interference is a joke in the game anyway. They don't call the interference for getting in someones path to the puck, only call it when you hit someone who doesnt have the puck. And it also seems to not exsist at all in front of the net.
