I went to the last game vs the Jets and saw a Tyler Myers goal live. I feel sorry for anyone going to this game to not get the chance at that.

Jets played a disciplined game against us last time, and we unraveled in the 3rd period.
If there's one team I wouldn't like to face in the playoffs (if we won a round)..Its the Jets..We dont match up against them very well.
Hopefully another team takes care of them.

This is to keep the Western Conference lead and home ice (hopefully) for 3 rounds. We could have won that last game here, just a couple of breakdowns. But Soucy is back, and the Jets won't have Toffoli yet. And the Jets will be on a b2b.

Also - with Allvin saying Joshua should be back in 10-14 days, I’m guessing we run with the same lineup as the last game.
Hopefully the last three games will set the Canucks up nicely for a rematch with the Jets at the Rog.
They're reverted to their early season form and fine-tuned their defensive system--allowing only one goal a game for the last three.
The only way you're going to beat the Jets is to outwait them. They just shut you down and wait for the inevitable breakdowns to score on the counter-attack. But the Canucks can't get frustrated and force anything, particularly in the neutral zone.
Hellebucyk will probably be a brick wall again.....but if the Canucks could get the pp untracked, it would be a huge advantage.
