We were beat to the puck time after time tonight; that empty netter said it all (to be fair Petey was probably gassed but still...). Too many passengers...

Im pretty sure the Lindholm trade was more then jsut a rental. Its insurance for if Petterson doesnt want to resign, which im getting a strong feeling that he jsut wants to play in a small market.

Oh yeah, you try and re-sign a player like that. If we didn’t even attempt it would be a Benningesque mistake.

Playing their fourth game in six nights, with travel in between, it's hard to truly judge this team right now. But I suspect this roster wouldn't last long in the playoffs--too soft, too small, and based on the last few games--too slow.

They lost most of the puck battles and were second to loose pucks all night long. Even the goaltending is starting to take on water. Demko is surrendering a lot of goals high on his stick side for some reason.

And is there a top player in the NHL who spends more time on his ass than Pettersson? It seems every time he goes into a corner or engages in a puck battle, he simply can't stay on his feet.

This team needs an infusion of sandpaper and grit at the TDL.....but may not have the assets to acquire what they need.

Really noticeable when Joshua isn’t in the lineup.
