Because Tocchet in the post game interview indirectly attacked the refs again. The refs will give out game misconducts to our top guys and Canucks will be playing down their top offensive guys, Hughes, and Demko for looking inappropriately at the refs. Then Colorado will get several pp's and the final score will be 13-2 avalanche on Desm13h. The refs will start this when we get the 2-0 lead.

Absolutely ugly scheduling.....after the implosion in Minny, it's on to a plane for a game 24 hours later in mile-high Denver.

Unfortunately a lot of Canucks will be operating on fumes.......not the recipe for a happy game against the Avalanche. Canucks won't be favored in this one.

Hopefully our PP definitively got off the schneid with that goal today. That, and Demko in net and a motivated team off back to back losses hopefully works in our favour.

Playing in Denver, against the Avs, and the current state of NHL officiating would be the things working against us.

Canucks have had the worst schedule of any team so far. Played the most games, the most road games and most back to backs of any team. However, this will soon change. One positive is that teams like the Oilers will be going under a hell schedule for the final two months and will probably be gassed in round 1.
