Last game of this road trip before their two game homestand Thursday and Saturday.....but then they head back to the Midwest for a back-to-back against the Wild and Avs.

This is Mickey Mouse scheduling.

I believe the last time we played them the final score was 2-0
Therefore if you calculate the progression of some players the regression of others as well as the cumulative travel and games played, figure out the various coaching styles vs games played and extrapolate the veteran leaderships you can easily predict the score of this one
4-1 Canucks
Petey goes Bananas
Boeser with a Goal
Hoglander a Goal
Lafferty and Joshua Goals

It’s math

Madonna and Bill Burr are at Rogers on the 21st and 23rd. Win game is the 17th. Probably did put in an open date for the 19/20th. But, the schedule makers are sending them back onto the road.

But, honestly, any homestand less than 3 games doesn't make any sense. To fly home from that far away after 5 games for 2 games is really making that a 6 game road trip with the travel/time change from Chicago back to Van. Hope that is something that the schedule makers adjust for, especially for the western teams.

Only luck Van get is that Detroit plays the night before in Alberta.

Trap game written all over it...just hoping for a business-like victory where we aren't exerting ourselves too hard

Who would come out for Woo? Juulsen and Friendman both played well so unless its Myers....

Could be a 'trap game'.....in the final game of a tough five-game road swing against a lackluster opponent.

Except that the Canucks have rarely fallen victim to 'trap games' against inferior opponents this season. They've usually taken care of business, and hopefully the game against the lowly Hawks is no exception.

Would be nice to see a breakout game offensively. With the exception of the Boston game, this entire road-trip has been rife with tight hockey games and OT results.
