Hard to believe they finally beat the devils. It only took injuries to some of their top players and to play them on second half of a back to back

That 3rd devils goal looked offside. If not it was definitely very close.

I was surprised the Canucks didn't challenge but it's probably because it was 5-2

Canucks tried to give it away in the third period against an undermanned, and injury-riddled Jersey team.

Another game where Tocchet and the Canucks will be disappointed in their third period. They dominated the first two periods and could have up 7 or 8-2. But no way should they have been hanging on at the end.

Big nights point-wise for Miller, Pettersson and Hughes. But in the third period, everybody was scuffling and no one worse than Kuzmenko--who absolutely quit along the wall on the Devils fourth goal.

He generates some chances in the offensive zone, but you simply can't play him in third period when you're trying to protect a lead.

Canucks let their foot off the gas again combined with some pretty poor coverage.

Demko weak low blocker which the Devils were obviously trying to exploit. Not a good showing for him especially getting beat clean from distance with no screen on multiple occasions.

Win is a win, but the team needs to put these games away without the theatrics.

Could’ve done without the butt clinching finish but a win is a win
