That eastern trip, then home for one game, then on a plane again for a back-to-back is about as tough as it gets.
5 games with a flight before each game. Despite having a home game in there. Add 6 with the Seattle game flying back from Cal. No practice time. They have a busy schedule to close Nov.
that’s why I didn’t worry too much about how they did it but that they were able to gain points in the first 16 games. First 20, get your points and stay in the race. Then the next 40 is to work on your weaknesses before the th tdl and see where you are there. Be it a seller or buyer.

No easy games.

Kraken have mostly been able to stay in many of their games. They are a very resilient group.

San Jose has sort of picked it up since allowing the 20 goals in 2 games.

These are teams they should beat but these games will probably be close ones.

I just want to see a complete effort 5 v 5. Really need to get Juulsen out. We know what he is at this point and there's no need to see him on an NHL squad anymore. There's at least 3-4 other guys that should be ahead of him.

The schedule this month is so f***ing stupid. There's just no flow to it. Either go on the road for 8 straight or stay at home for an extended period. Finished a road trip in Montreal only to play 1 home game and then hit the road to Calgary on a B2B, now they are coming back for 2 games then going to Colorado, Seattle and then back to San Jose...then coming home for 2 games only to go to Calgary again?

Kraken gave the Oilers hope by losing twice to them in the past 6 days. Let's destroy them!

The Kraken haven't enjoyed the same production from up and down their lineup that they got last year (that part always seemed unsustainable), but they still have the pieces to hurt us. Would be nice to put the boots to them on home ice after they trounced us a few times last year.

Kraken have always given us fits for their insane team speed and relentless forecheck. They seem like a team that could attack Myers or Juulsen all night and gain turnovers like candy. Waive Juulsen cowards

Always sucks to get that 1 off road game. I would guess the Canucks had given them the Isles, Kraken, and Sharks dates. NHL saw a chance to squeeze in a VAn/CAl game and stuck it right in there. Kind of stupid.

The game between the SJ gme to the next home game has 1 concert on the 24th.

I think each team only gives like 50 or so open dates. Don't think it's much higher than that. Just the reality of how it is.

Canucks facing their first serious adversity of the season......with injuries mounting. This will be a tough game against the Kraken, who are coming off a SO win over the Islanders.

Five-on-five scoring is starting to dry up, and if the Canucks don't draw any penalties and get on the PP, they're usually in for a tough night.

In the NHL, it's all about 'managing your losses', no matter how bad the schedule is. Maybe lose two but then nip it in bud and win a few, or even get loser points.

Hopefully tomorrow night the Canucks can find a way on NNIC.
