Your loyalty is to your goalie, not the other team. Its about sticking together as a team

If its the 2nd goal of a 10-2 game then yes who cares but this was for Demko’s shutout in front of his family

I did like that the team kept within it's systems even when it was clear it was going to be a blow-out.

We play these guys again in like a week and don’t need to be giving them things to be pissed off about.

Now THAT'S what you do to the worst team in the league.

You don't take it easy, you don't take the night off, you don't coast for two scoreless periods and then get a goal and collapse for the third to get one of those "greasy road wins" (as Bieksa likes to call them). That strat might give the Sharks hope and optimism, that they might snipe this one. Never give them that confidence.

The proper strat is to stomp 'em in the nuts, and keep stomping. Eliminate any hope they had early, and keep reminding them.
