I'm still shocked/impressed at how much faith Willie D is showing in Jared McCann.

It's not like he just put McCann on the team to be a 4th line LW or 4th line C, he's the opening night 3rd line Centre! That's a pretty big role IMO. And WD believes in him enough to try Sutter with the Sedins. Pretty cool, we have some young guys who can play!

Why can't we at least give this a chance?? He's a right handed, shoot-first player with speed who is a 2 time 20 goal scorer.

Just let him give it a try guys. It's not like he's been doing it for 10 games and it's been completely ineffective. It's been 3 periods of preseason hockey. Plus, it allows Bo Horvat and Jared McCann to be our 2nd and 3rd line Centres! That's something I didn't think I'd be saying this season.

Elaborate....if you're going to go out on a limb in the face of statistics and countless eye test, bring something new to the table. I'd love to read it.

Why do coaches have to screw with the lines rather than just go with what SHOULD be. Even if he doesn't want all kids together, having Sutter as a winger and no natural centre on the third line makes NO SENSE.
