Well, yeah, but my issue is in identifying need.
Panarin - Trocheck - Tarasenko
Kreider - Zibanejad - Jimmy Vesey
Lafreniere - Chytil - Kakko
Motte - Goodrow - Kravtsov
Kakko should remain stapled to Chytil. If Lafreniere gets punted out, you gotta replace Jimmy Vesey. The RW need diminished with Tarasenko coming in, but it's still there.
If I'm NYR trading with Arizona where I'm giving up Lafreniere and a 1st, I better be getting Schmaltz and some sweeteners at the bare minimum. At least I can move Goodrow into the vacated 3LW.
Upgrading Lindgren isn't the right call if you have to choose between him and Vesey
Bad for Vancouver. Good for LA.We’ve got a block buster here folks
Quinn Hughes
Brandt Clark, 2023 1st, Cal Peterson, 2024 2nd
Confirmed. Clarke was my favorite player in the 2021 draft and I still believe he has the highest upside. We’ve got a block buster here folks

Tomas Nosek (50% retained)
Nick Holden
Cal Foote
Vlad Namestnikov
Foote is the best asset of the 4 pieces here, but he hasn't gelled here, and our window is now. Nosek improves our 4th line with his 58.3% FO wins, and Holden is a responsible 6/7D. We also shave about 1.2m in cap to (hopefully) make a bigger move
A "TB wins now, OTT wins long-term" kinda trade a playoff contender needs to make
