Laich, Erat, Ward, and Neuvirth available. Looking for a top 6 winger and top 4 d-man. Will listen on Mike Green, but we're likely not interested in a draft pick or prospect being the main piece coming back to us in any potential deal.

Everyone outside of Jones, Josi, Wilson, and Forsberg are available.

This includes:

Shea Weber
Pekka Rinne
David Legwand
Patric Hornqvist
Kevin Klein
Mike Fisher
Viktor Stalberg
Matt Cullen
etc

Looking primarily for NHL caliber offense. Will consider picks/prospects if they are good enough. Rinne will not necessarily be moved but we will certainly listen if we are able to acquire a younger goaltending option.

Leading offer for Weber is two top 6 forwards and a high 1st round pick. Don't expect to get him with your late 1sts/junior prospects.

UPDATE: Weber will be moved today. If you're not going to offer something similar to what I listed here, don't bother.

:jets UPDATE

Lots of talks but nothing appears to be imminent.

Evander Kane is definitely in play. He would cost a lot to acquire but I'm not only listening to offers, there is a good chance that he will be traded.

Andrew Ladd is a different case. We had discussions with several teams and reveived a couple fair offers. However, chances are that we will keep him unless an overpayment.

ALSO ON THE TRADE BLOCK :
Dustin Byfuglien
Tobias Enstrom
Bryan Little
Michael Frolik
Grant Clitsome
ETC

RENTALS :
Olli Jokinen : Looking for a 2014 2nd and a prospect
Devin Setoguchi : Looking for a 2014 2nd
Mark Stuart : Looking for a 2014 2nd
*Could retain salary but only for players on expiring contract

PM!

Lots of interest in Mark Giordano, though we're not especially looking to move him, if the right offer came along we would consider it.

Fleischmann Modified NTC
Campbell NTC (8 team list he WILL accept trade to)
Kulikov
Thomas NMC
Upshall Modified NTC
Kopecky
Bergenehim
Boyes
Weaver
Gomez
Jovo
The list goes on!

Goc, Gilbert will be a tougher sell as we plan on re-signing these great locker room guys. The young guns (Gudbranson, Barkov, Hubs, Bjugstad) will be practically unmovable, but nothing is off the table.

WEBER TRADED TO EDMONTON

The Nashville Predators have agreed to trade star defenseman Shea Weber to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for forwards Jordan Eberle and Sam Gagner, and Edmonton's 1st round pick in 2014. We are extremely excited to add quality offense to our team and hope that we can get a good young prospect with the 1st round pick. There were several other teams who gave competitive offers, but we got the sense that no team was willing to go as far as Edmonton and we decided to make the trade quickly. We wish Shea the best in Edmonton.

We will now turn our attention to trading Pekka Rinne, Mike Fisher, David Legwand, Kevin Klein, and others.

I might move Alex Edler for the right package. Looking for young roster players and high-end prospects. He'd also probably need to go to a playoff team since he has a NTC.

Bump-a-roo

If I can't find a deal that I like for Edler, I'd look to move Chris Tanev/Jannik Hansen/Jordan Schroeder/draft picks/prospects for a young top 9 forward with top 6 potential or a young-ish top 6 forward that isn't an upcoming UFA.

We have decided to take Kevin Klein off the trade block. We received more interest in him than anyone else, but I'm not motivated to deal him for anything less than a legitimate top 6 forward.

Dmitry Kulikov

We were concerned with Dmitry's development and potential risk of leaving to Russia. We felt it was important to give him a shot in a new organization while his value was at a level that would benefit our team. Happy to have a 1st in a deep draft, and two great prospects in Phillips and Draeger.

Discussions for Brian Campbell and Tim Thomas are heating up.. PM us they could be gone tonight.

We confirm. Dmitri definitely needed a change in scenery and we feel he will slot nicely next to fellow youngster, Jonas Brodin. We wish Zach and John all the best in Florida.

The Wild are still in the market for a top 9 centre and passively looking to move Heatley who is a free agent at the end of the year.

:edmonton confirms.

We wish Jordan & Sam continued success in Nashville.

The opportunity arose to acquire a franchise defenseman who is well situated in the debate of 'Best NHL Defensemen' and we did not hesitate to act. We've witnessed first hand the effect that reverberates through the rest of the blueline and roster when anchored by a truly elite #1 defensemen. Not every team has one; there certainly aren't thirty in the NHL, and we paid a significant price from an area of strength to secure Shea Weber.

Furthermore, we felt a lethargic cloud of apathy was creeping into the locker room. There was not nearly enough compete and heart being shown on the ice and this serves as resounding echo to coach Eakin's comments when hired:

Dallas Eakins said:
"You will either compete hard or you will not play. I do not care how old you are, how much money you make, how much term you have left on your contract. You will compete, or we will find players that will.â€

Partly this was a fault of management.... we did not compile the correct mix to support our players. Partly this was a fault of our players... there were too many players comfortable to be non-factors on any given night. The Weber/Eberle/Gagner trade represents an emphatic statement that we are forging forward in a direction towards the franchise's 6th Stanley Cup.

Oilers recall Anton Lander from Oklahoma City of the AHL.

Henrik Samuelsson
Chris Brown
2nd round pick Arizona 2014

Samuelsson is a big skilled prospect with a mean streak. Can play both wing and center. Brown is a big skilled winger that play physical. These young players fit very well with our style of game. Another 2nd round pick is also nice to have.
