Then you can make signings once you make those moves. You can't go over the 10%. Jokinen signing can't go through.

Have signed free agent defenseman Jonathan Ericsson to a 4 year 8M deal, 2M a season. We're excited to have Jonathan on the team, and feel he bolsters our defensive depth greatly.

You can go over the cap but not by more then 10%...The NHL won't approve any free agent signing that puts a team over the 10% cap number.

i waived him when we 1st started and he cleared so he went down to the minors
