Oilers are on a tear. So that win against them means something.

The only "tear" they were on when the Canucks played them last was a losing streak where they gave up 5 5 6 7 goals. I don't think it means anything.

The Nov 2 game might say something or it might not, if the Oilers are still hot it could be a good test. I will reserve judgement on the Oilers resurgence until I see them play a few more good games.
