"Game 8" was one of the best regular season games I can remember watching. The hits, the fights, the high emotion, the highlight reel plays. I don't know if two teams that played for the Cup have had the bad blood those two teams had since then.

Flashing forward to now - just win, baby. Two top teams in the league set to go at it.
Little surprising given that they just played the 1 game and have 4 more left on the trip with a B2B, so unlikely to practice the rest of the road trip. Even when they return, it's every other day for a game for the first 3 games.

Biggest game of year for me nothing brings out emotion like playing Bruins for me. Let's give a grade A effort for 60 tomorrow and get another W.

It's funny how I still, and likely always will hate the Bruins.
It's weird because I kind of dug them as a kid, especially when they had Ray Borque. But now it's just seething, blind, hatred.

A game/playoff series can change everything - I hate almost everyone associated with the 2011 Bruins. Now it's pretty much just Marchand and Jack Edwards. (and the League Officiating Office, the CBC/Canadian Media outside of BC, really
). I can admire the talent of a guy like Pastrnak and he seems like a good dude.
I say this out of concern for the man — Jack Edwards needs to retire

He was a piece of garbage that needed to retire because he was garbage years ago.
Now, I agree, hearing him/seeing him makes me think there's legitimate medical reasons he should be retiring now.

What's more is that we have a pretty huge 8 game lead for the division, it won't be easy for other teams to catch up.
Looking very likely we'll see LA in the first round, and we still play them 4 times before the end of the season. Should make for some fun watching!!
