Lol just glanced over the brief stint with the Pens.

Iggy was and is a very handsome man but he looks like a baby in that draft photo.

I hate the fact that the game starts at 9:30. I have to work all week and may have to stop watching to head to bed.

Hoping Iggy gets a hat trick.

If Johnny can play, the pairs are far more likely to be:

Chara-Krug
Seidenberg-Miller
Bartkowski-Boychuk

...especially if they want to ease him back in. He could conceivably end up with Chara though that would be a larger workload and put Seids on the right with Krug and Bart with Miller.

Unfortunately, judging by his own comment of "I didn't feel too awesome" when asked how he felt during practice it's not looking good for tomorrow.

Hate the late games.

C'mon Bruins win that cup for Iggy this year :) I still feel he will eventually retire a Flame.

Good luck tomorrow hope for a good clean game.

Have they called anyone up for Boychuk/Hamilton?

Seems like they should do that ASAP.

Julien has already said they are waiting to determine Boychucks status for tomorrow before they do that. Sounds like some other poor Baby B may get that same 4:30am wake up call to catch a flight up north that Spooner and Fraser got the other night.

Apparently the flu bug is going around on the team? It would really suck if Iginla got hit with it.

It sucks that so many regular Bs won't be playing, but thankfully the organization has good depth. Hungry players trying to prove themselves are fun to watch and can contribute. Ask Krug about that. The great thing about having to play young guys on defense is that we have Z and Seids anchoring the D. Those guys can mask a TON of mistakes by their teammates and keep things rocking and rolling. It'd be great if Iggy could put on a show against his old team and pot a couple goals.

I'm happy to see Iggy's homecoming. Can't wait for it. It would be nice if he could build on the goal he scored vs Toronto and ride some momentum into a bit of a streak.

lmao D.Smith is a defense men and is definitely not Calgary's 4th line centre. He also got waved and is down in the AHL now.

Those lines were from a practice when one of our centre's was sick/injured.

Either way, nice game thread :)

Nice GDT :). Hoping for a great game - maybe it can go to OT so both teams can get at least a point. Can't wait to see Iggy again!

Calgary is cheering for the Boston Bruins this year!
