Let’s stay on topic, and hopefully we have a good game to talk about.

We are owned by a lousy Montreal team, we dominated another lousy Ottawa team, beat a quality Winnipeg team so your guess is as good as mine as Toronto is probably with Calgary and Winnipeg as the best teams of the division. Random guess, 5-4 Vancity with goals from Hogger, Horvat, Hughes, MacEwan and JT Miller (Millsy)

GO CANUCKS GO!!!!!!!

Man I love this team :yo:

It doesn't get any easier..There's nothing I hate more than losing to Montreal and Toronto in their home rinks..We used to beat the Leafs like a drum for almost a decade..times have changed.

I do think that the Canucks will do better against the Leafs than the Habs..At the beginning of this road trip, I said that this would be a good measuring stick to see where the Canucks are at..So far ,they've demonstrated that they're a middle of the division team.

This team is a train-wreck defensively right now, and the high-flying Leafs have a have dozen guys who can kill you in the offensive end.

All you can hope for is that the Canucks head into this game with some fear in their hearts, that they want to avoid getting blown out on HNC. That might the only motivator they have to lock it down and survive this one.

Probably Demko between the pipes again. TO wasn't kind to him last year, but hopefully he doesn't get hung out to dry. Still think a 5-2 loss might be as good as it gets.

This could get ugly, but then again I thought the Jets game would be ugly too, hard to know which team will show up from night to night.

Also could you imagine if we still had the first round pick from the Miller trade hanging over this season? Thank god that's over with.

I think they win at least 1 out of 3 from the Leafs, likely a Demko 40+ save type of night. But they really need 3 or 4 pts here out of the 3 games to stabilize things a bit.

Might be interesting few games if our bottom-six goes Super Saiyan against their bottom six.

Otherwise, I don't like the look of this. Our top guys are usually ultra competitive, and wouldn't surprise me if they really relished this matchup. Then again I also wouldn't be surprised to see them spinning their wheels and not getting very far.

So hard to get a read from game to game of what to expect.

Yes, Montreal was not kind this road trip, beating us not once, but

We at least made it a little respectable last night, but still

Hopefully we can catch the Leafs off guard

After all, with all that high priced talent, there is more to see here

But their Power Play is deadly, so we need to stay out of the

If we score more goals than they do, I think we might have a chance
Should be ONE of the 5 keys to the game Brandon:

1 win puck battles
2 force penalties
3 timely saves
4 outscore them
5 win faceoffs
6 dont lose puck battles

Leafs are running 2 PP units considering we only have 3 forwards that are good at PKing Motte/Beagle/Sutter and 1D Edler. I think the 2nd unit might get shredded.

I get the feeling we will limit Torontos hi end offense in one game but the other one there gonna expose the hell out of our d and gonna run it up like 8 or 9 goals
