The play was already blown dead because Calvert was down on the ice, it most likely would've been a penalty if the play was stopped because of Foligno.

Aside from a very clean hit, it also shows how useless helmets are if you have it that loose on your head. A properly snug, and fitted, helmet doesn't go flying that easily and protects Calvert's head from potentially impacting the ice or boards on the way down.
