Where's the bold part?
1. seems like this is a regular take these days
2. is it bold to say he chooses Blues? And it's not bold to say that JT team doesn't make playoffs since he never does.
3. he almost won it this year and he's progressing so 0% bold
4. with that aging core it's only natural they will miss the playoffs sometime in the near future + they were bad as hell in the playoff this year
5. Not very bold since Radulov is already there. And it's not very bold take to say Dallas misses the playoffs since they missed it this year and Kovalchuk won't make a difference

Are you the "bold prediction"-police or something? I've seen that you reply to lots of posters saying they're not bold enough in your opinion. Could you please lay out some ground rules for us posters in this forum to follow so that we all can function in a way that satisfies you're needs?

Jets predictions: Of course I'm going to predict that they win the Stanley Cup, and Schiefele will get the Conn Smythe he was going to get this year. Other predictions:

Eastern conference winner: Bruins
Surprise of the year: Defending Stanley Cup champ Vegas loses in the first round of the playoffs
Oilers and Flames make the playoffs.
Habs finish dead last in the NHL.
Flyers make it to the semi-finals.
Both Crosby and Malkin get hurt, Pens miss the playoffs.

- Vegas Golden Knights Once Again Win Their Division

- Stamkos suffers another injury, and Tampa Bay misses the playoffs

- John Tavares wins the Art Ross Trophy, while his new wingers, Vladimir Tarasenko, wins the Maurice Richard Trophy

- Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner, finally playing full-time together, lead the Leafs to a division title

- The Senators enter the season with Erik Karlsson still on the roster. At the deadline, they sit 3rd in the division, so decide to keep him. The Sens get swept in 4 games by the Sabres, Karlsson walks for nothing, and the team is up for sale come August.

- Edmonton once again misses the playoffs.

Tarasenko being traded to the Islanders is quite the bold take!

Alright, I hope these are bold enough:

-John Tavares signs with Montreal, spurning both the Isles and the hard-pressing Leafs to end up in la belle province. The Habs squeaks back into the playoffs.
-Joe Thornton signs with the Leafs, joining his buddy Marleau and replacing the departed Tyler Bozak at #3C. Still doesn't get any closer to winning that elusive Cup, though.
-Dallas makes a huge splash on draft day, in their own backyard, acquiring Drew Doughty from the LA Kings in a blockbuster deal. They overpay, but fans are still ecstatic.
-Taylor Hall wins the Art Ross Trophy.....but the Devils miss the playoffs.
-Aaron Ekblad wins his first Norris Trophy.
-Arizona makes the playoffs as a top-3 seed in the Pacific, but lose in the first round.
-Columbus fires John Tortorella after a rough start to the season, and he winds up replacing the senile Don Cherry on Coach's Corner.
-Buffalo just barely misses out on the playoffs, losing on the last game of the season. But they end up winning the next draft lottery anyway.
-Seattle is awarded an NHL team, and chooses to be called the Seattle Thunder. Tampa isn't happy about this, but nobody cares.

What is it with you being the bold police? This is the second time I've seen you criticizing people for not being bold enough.
