Haven't seen too much of him personally... but he is tearing it up. Those that watch regularly... thoughts on him? Seems like he might add some much needed scoring punch in the bottom 6.
Has rebounded nicely from early season injury which really set him back. Has some grit to his game and is a very smart player. I would give him, Studnicka and Frederic a look before end of the year.

If Boston smokes Tampa today work some of the Pbruins in as the season ends.

I would resign Gaunce for next year.

Some noteable stats from the AHL Providence Bruins.

Since Feb 1 or the last 12 games
Jack Studnicka has scored 7 goals and 9 assist, being a plus 7. He had 40 shots and scored 2 SHG.
As of today he's 15th in scoring (3rd among rookie) with 22 goals and 25 assist 47 points in 57 GP.
He leads the entire AHL in shorthanded goals with 7. No other player has more than 4 SHG and no other rookie has more than 2 SHG. Jack's having a phenomenal season. He's a strong candidate for AHL Rookie of the Year.

Brendan Gaunce since Feb 1 has scored 7+7=14 +8 44 shots 2 PPG
Oskar Steen has 2 goals and 8 assist since Feb 1.
Zach Senyshyn has picked up 2 goals and 4 assist +6 since Feb 1.
Jakub Zboril has a plus 12 the last month. 2+13=15 +16 46 PIM in 57 games.
Trent Frederic still leads in PIM with 141.

Daniel Vladar is no. 1 of all AHL goalies in both goals against average 1,83 and best save percentage 0.935.
He has also won his five last starts.

It's been so much fun to follow PBruins this year and watch all the games and how they've come together as a team.
Both players and fans being rewarded as they won a nine straight game. Really impressive. Small things noticed the celebration after last nights OT win. All players immediately came off the bench to congratulate Gaunce.
Seems like they really injoyed that as a team. Rematch tonight in Springfield.

Frederic with a goal and a throwdown in the 1st. Anyone see the fight?

Turtling isn’t a good look, but definitely the right thing to do in this situation. Either look bad turtling or look significantly worse in a physical manner letting Frederic tee off on you.
