The 20-year-old right-winger played in 68 games for his hometown Sherbrooke Phoenix club having a career year in 2018-19 posting 29-29-58 numbers in his first season with the Phoenix since being traded to his birth city. The four-year QMJHL veteran was drafted by the Rimouski Oceanic in the first round of the league’s entry draft where he was selected 15th overall in the first round. Voyer played his first three seasons of his “Q” career with Rimouski posting 22-35-57 numbers in 158 games before the June 1st trade that sent him packing for home.
Olivier-Voyer is a big rugged forward that is listed at 6′-2″ 192-pounds per EliteProspects.com and in his complete QMJHL career has posted 51-64-115 numbers in 226 games. If he does well and impresses the Bruins brass, he could very well get an invite to the American Hockey League Providence Bruins training camp set to kick off as soon as the B’s National Hockey League camp is over.

Exciting! Hope he brings everything he has got.

My guess for line are

Lauko Carey Kuhlman
Filipe Hughes Senyshyn
Koppanen Hall Steen
Shen Asselin Lantosi

Not sure about the Ds pairing

Vladar, Swayman, Booth

What happened to Keyser?

Who do you have for the lines?
Lantosi will be higher in the lineup but those are really good
On paper looks like Leach can easily roll 4 lines

Vladar the backup in Boston tonight, was removed from the taxi squad 2 days ago, practiced in Rhode Island yesterday, thought that wasn't allowed this year?
@DominicT help!

I haven't seen the official status of the callup. If Rask is "unable to play" which appears to be the case, they are required to have 3 goaltenders at all times, so they can use the "emergency replacement" to bring them up to 3 - Halak/Vladar/Booth.

There is no rule though on which one has to dress. So as an "emergency replacement" it's all good.

I like Hall up to the 3rd in the lineup. I think he can do more than 4th line duties (where he as at for the WJC). Great hands for a big kid. Hope Leach sees it that way.

Whats the scouting on Lantosi? I can see he put up respectable numbers at Providence last season

Does he have the makeup to be promoted to the big leagues?

Offensively yes, defensively as of today no
Best part of a 26 game season is these guys on the fringe can't dick around, it's now or never and will have to perform rather quickly
Lantosi, Koppanen, Zech

He’s got the skill, finesse and offensive acumen to be a solid third-line PP specialist in the NHL, I think. Will he get a shot? Probably not in Boston given who’s ahead of him, especially coupled with his current age, but maybe somewhere else. He’s an interesting player, but I’d say that’s his potential in the NHL whether or not he gets there.
