I am introducing this as a means of communication in case folks here are interested in making a 'custom' thread for the GDT's.

If interested in creating a GDT, please sign-up with the date and game that is of interest. This is only IF the GDT being created is a custom GDT. If there are no sign-up's for a specific day/game, then feel free to create a standard GDT thread a few hours before game time.

The idea is to make the GDT's more fun and get people involved in them. There is no pressure to commit to creating GDT's. Similarly, there is no pressure if real-life happens and you are unable to deliver the GDT on time.

That is absolutely fine. The main reason it would be good to know if you are working on something is:

- Avoiding duplication of effort by someone else working on it.
- Working on something, as a spur of the moment thing, but someone else just creates a standard/basic GDT before that. This has happened to me before and while its always easy enough to re-purpose it for another game, it can be sometimes disappointing ..

@RainyCityHockey I am going to grab those dates from your post and put them in the first post which I will then sticky. I will also try my best to keep it updated with any signups that we have.

Yeah. I have been way too caught up with work stuff and have been unable to do much in this area. I have some downtime around the winter holidays and will try to get some stuff in place then, hopefully.

Just try something or look around other teams forums for ideas?

Mine aren't all that creative as well, I just though more people would be interested in just trying out something like this and have some fun with it.

But yeah, this wasn't meant to pressure anyone into doing stuff like that.

I keep saying… Seattle. Forums are the past, antiquated internet tech. Hell, I’d suspect nobody under 30 knows how to use a forum or a rotary phone in the Kraken territory. I’m also a flake, admittedly. You might think it’s the drinking. Not so. It’s the personality. I just can’t be depended on if given a date, but I’ll show up big time (lololol. Fish-fish-squid) when nobody else does. It’s given me a lot of success in life. If I’m given a deadline, I do it right away because I know that’s my window. I live on the edge, always with a sense of urgency. If you say “I need it now” I am at my best because that’s how I do everything.
