ZIG ZAG looks pretty good at SKA (where they were supposed to get trashed). Unfortunately, it's 2-0 after 2nd period with first goal in PP and second in 19th minute of second period. Few great chances for Medveščak, they hit the post during first PP, at least one goal should have been scored - but that guy at SKA's goal is having awesome day.

Crowd in SPb is spectacular. If any KHL team should have NHL-size stadium, it's SKA. I bet they could easily have 20k average attendance.

If we forget all the ******** about gas money, jealousy towards them being richest team in league and other crap then SKA indeed is closest team to nhl level.

They have really good attendance and quite new arena but probably could increase by some numbers in even bigger arena, they are building their new, modern training facility or whatever they call it in Russian, they think about how to get ***** in the seat and how to keep them entertained, they think about image of the club starting from logo, jerseys and ending with website and all other things to attract new fans. And of course they have money what is also important to building successful team and club

Marketing is damn important in sport but so many teams seem to ignore it in khl, cause they will get their sponsor money for players anyways and why should they bother with anything else

Kanye won't save you

Medveščak might have been good today but the fact that the opposing teams' goalkeepers are having their best days (at least according to Zagreb fans) vs the club doesn't say anything good.

If we take out first game vs CSKA, on average Zagreb scores 1.25 goals per game last 4 games.... Can't win many games with such scoring.

Luck helps Lokomotiv get one point out of a lost game but still another loss. Atlant and Loko are so far the most underwhelming teams in the West with Dinamo Riga and Spartak being the biggest surprises.
