Yes because Gallagher is a proven top 6 player in the NHL while KK has had a nightmare of a year. There is no hidden conspiracy here.

I would argue that a lot has happened since KK's "nightmare season". KK's been trending up, PPG in the AHL , built out muscle and worked on his skating, looked great in camp/exhibition, it's August...We're pretty much in 2020-2021 right now. I am still seeing the same Claude unable to adjust to changes.

Tanguay was soft. I cursed so many times that year when we'd need a goal late in the game and he refused to pay the price to make a play.
