GDT Makers Help Needed - THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Over the years we've had a lot of great people help with GDTs. It's about that time we start back up with a schedule. We've had a lot of vets who now have busier schedules so we need some new blood to step in and help out. Or else we are going to have Washington Capitals type GDTs. :laugh:

If you are interested at all, you can send me a PM or discuss it here. Eventually i'll be adding a schedule for the GDTs. If you can please help out, it'd be greatly appreciated. Not every GDT has to be a masterpiece. Just some good solid data copy/pasted would be solid.

Your template is being hung in the HOF in Toronto. It'll justify the $20 admission.

I haven't done a gdt in a few years (ever since my incredibly clever Scott pilgrim/beau bennett series failed miserably

) but I think I'll do at least one this year. Probably in the style of rick and Morty I think. Probably already been done but I'll come up with something unique

As far as ideas, something around Willy Wonka and the "Golden Ticket."

As most know, the Pens have a Golden Ticket promotion going on. We should all pay homage to Gene Wilder this season.

Maybe a GDT around, Kessel in Wonderland 'The Yellow and Black Brick Road.

Just throwing some out there.

Degenx, When I said I got nothing in the other thread, I meant I didn't do anything for the GDT.

Don't want to take up anymore time in the pre-game for GDT stuff.

Normally, I work on bit and pieces leading up to them.

The first was going to be based off Scott Steiner ' Big Poppa Pump, but working on it yesterday wasn't going to happen getting enough done. What it should be at least for the Banner raising. It worked well with the annoying sirens and lights that the Caps use, further digging in that dagger.

Speaking of doing GDT's back in the day, whatever happen to BuzzPenguin.. do they go by a different name now or no longer post?

Willy Wonka, Wonderland and Oz all sound like good ideas. Actually, the yellow and black brick road could potentially feature the Wizard of Cros. They also sound like ideas that would take some time to do justice to.

I'd rather not bring my bad GDT karma to the first one of the year, but if no one has volunteered by the time the morning skate has wrapped up I'll throw one together. Don't blame me if we lose, though :laugh:

As far as my GDT's, I was cleaning out my Photobucket of all very old stuff, but somehow they wiped my entire bucket clean. All GDT's are gone and I can't fix it. All GDT's are on lockdown and really not worth the hassle to reload.

As always, I can help, doing pieces here and there upon request.

We're here to help one another for those that want or need it.

Unless someone comes forward in the next couple of hours, I'll go ahead and make one. I should have it up by 6pm, but if I get it done sooner I'll post it then lock it until closer to game time.
