I think it has to do with Erkka's gameplan too.. when we are leading in NT too, its not always pretty.

I don't think this kind of gameplan is good idea to try this soon in the game... At the start of 3rd. earliest but even then i would go for offence until the last 10 minutes or so left in the game.

There was about 50% or regulation left to play and it's only an 2 goal lead. Imo it's better to keep the puck in the other end and try to create scoring changes instead of "playing it safe" because it never is "safe" at least not with 2 goal lead...

Tho. The star of the period was definitely Helenius and so far he has the coolest highlight's of the game too

The start of the 3rd is much more energetic than the last half of the 2nd. I like it.

3 - 0, Now is time to think should Jokerit go "turtle mode" And at this point it's pretty much about can Helenius hold the net empty and get his & Jokerit's first KHL shutout?

So. Helenius had "Normipäivä" (Basic Day) and he had shutout. Thats good!

It's funny, jere was a bit worried about the pre-season (10points 9games) and told that "every player has a limit for points, better not to reach the limit pre-season..." and now he is indeed 0pst 3 games but overall, he played first 2 games really well, sochi games was sure bad. Not worried at all, he is still one of the most consistent players in jokerit.
