Maybe this needs its own thread, but can we have a little less homer-ism and a lot more balanced analysis from Luke Lapinski? When he glorifies opponents like the Wild as if they're the second coming of the Red Army Team and glosses over all the shorties it gets me sick.

More people would listen if he stopped the apologist act. One guy in a cheerleader's dress is enough for me and that's Tyson.

Remember that all of the announcers and hosts are hired by the team. They have specific language in their contracts not to be too critical of their employers. All pro sports teams do this.

Never understood why these stats only count regular season games. TGO didn't score 894 NHL goals ... he scored 1016. The extra 122 goals were the most important ones, so why don't they count???

Hate seeing Rieder stuck with Downie. I'd rather see Doan in place of Downie and have us get a quality 2nd line winger to replace Doan.
