Schematic fit. Always going to be that when it comes to smaller QBs like Murray, Young as well as Russ. Only certain HC and OC can and will work with that.

Plus the whole leadership and personality. Pierce is wanting to bring that old school Raider vibe back and Russ clearly does not fit that model.
