Byron is so underrated on this board. IMHO its because he is short. He is great in a bottom 6 role.

This signing had all the makings of a terrible mistake. Hammond didn't even have good stats in the AHL. Then, he looks Vezina worthy....people HAD to know that this was not the real portrait....and then....they still sign him....their other 2 goalies look already much better.

Condon playing the way he did behind a stacked team. Montoya playing like he does behind a AHL team....if it wasn't clear before....Loved Mike though. Still think he could get it going....but it might be elsewhere. Looked so awesome at the first development I've seen him in. Loved him from the start.

Carbonneau said he expects Condon to be the backup... No wonder why he doesn't coach anymore.
