There's something in the city of Boston that legitimately makes people lack honour and dignity. This team regularly starts diving and embellishing in the post season to get calls their ways. I've seen it over the years against the Leafs and they have no shame about it. The way Coyle acts like he got shot every game he looks like he belongs in a day care when he makes that face. Rick Nash did the same nonsense in the Bruins series against the Leafs a while ago. It feels like the Bruins assign one person to be the diveman/embellisher every series and this year it's Coyle.

Good lord. Score and have all the momentum (great play by Marner), and just hand back the game to Boston with stupid undisciplined nonsense. Bertuzzi is more focused on Marchand than the actual play, and they score in the out of position chaos. Then we get a PP to try and fix his mess, and he takes a stupid penalty by hitting up high for no reason. If this is the "playoff Bertuzzi" we held out hope for, no thank you.

Refs doing pretty much as bad as expected, given the refs and teams involved. You can sense a game that could erupt and cause injuries because refs let it get out of control.

The coaches aren't telling them to keep passing it to the Bruins players. They are just getting pressured heavily and they aren't distributing the puck well at all.

There is that but it's such an abysmally low PP % this post-season, formation/personnel etc, just something needs to be re-thought here.

Yeah, people can complain about the total number of penalties that are being called, but given that the Leafs have had more powerplays I don't think anyone can say that the refs are favouring Boston. Anyway, won't matter. Boston is pretty overmatched, and that's without Nylander.

It isn't about how many penalties are called, it is about when they are called. Matthews gets choked slammed behind the net and Reaves get dumped on a two on one scoring opportunity nothing. Bert throws a hit along and the boards and its "roughing" because Coyle grabbed his face. This league is an absolute joke. The lack of calls shifted momentum to the Bruins.

Tavares looked soft on that 2 v 2 which led to that penalty at the end of 2nd

Leafs have been the better team 5 v 5 for the vast majority of the series

Boston's 4th line has been mostly unplayable so if the Leafs can continue to somewhat run 4 lines they'll eventually wear the Bruins down throughout the game/series

Win or lose, I'm happy with what this Leafs TEAM has finally become...
