Kassian looked good splitting time on the Oilers' second line in their opener against the Flames. Yamamoto's sitting out, so Kassian gets another chance to shine there. I still can't believe that one playoff game he crushed.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Boeser as a regular healthy scratch. But it won't destroy him, he's too good.

What it will do is make the Canucks a worse team. And harder to watch and cheer for.

Agreed big time. I really thought we lost out in the bargain by keeping Shorty over Rick Ball.

Shorty's stodgy old bachelor librarian persona never has moved me very much.
