Who cares , DD was not the reason habs were missing empty nets or pee-wee passing plays.
They are literally only winning tonight because Hammond is in the net.

I have my issues with Wideman defensively.

But his "pee-wee" passes on the PP to Caufield and Suzuki are exactly what you want a pp QB to do. And no one else has been making them like Wideman. He took over for Petry as PP QB because he make them and Petry can't. They tried Chiarot. Wideman was better.

Wideman can score 30-37 points in a season from the 2nd wave of a pp.

Delusion. Wideman shouldnt even be in the NHL to begin with.
His half assed secondary assist are not needed at all. Id rather keep Petry on the powerplay at this point.

Clague and Harris , 3 points each.

Who needs Harris and Barron ?:naughty::naughty::naughty:

Just before the 3rd I was going to post that I hope Harris is back in next game. If he is, I can't see it being for Clague or Wideman. That would be unfair to them.

Petry over Wideman on the PP? Interesting take, to say the least.

FYI, 14 points in his last 14 games for Wideman.

suzuki - caufield chemistry is arousing
Yeah, but that's horrible. A young player like Suz, having to carry
so much weight. And he has to do it. while "in care, and control" of a
rookie. There is no other center that belongs on the top 2 lines. And
there is no more veteran help. Toff and lehks, were the guys that could
help. Of course they're gone. And some posters here hate him so much,
that they want him to carry Yelonen as well! Can't we give this guy a break?
He played big TOI in the playoffs, then had very little off-season, and then
endured this horrible season as the only "top 6 " center on this team.
Can't they give him a break?????

A couple of days away from hockey, and a few stiff drinks, then
sleep ,or whatever other chooses in bed. Habs aren't winning anything
this year anyway. Why are people so desprate to sacrifice Suzuki???
