On paper, that Washington bottom 9 is quite underwhelming. Surely there are injuries?

Hathaway on a 3rd line is worse than Kuhlman on the 3rd line.

Nice GDT Alicat.

The Bruins are favored, I am surprised. The game is in Washington for whatever that is worth without fans. Washington hasn't lost a game after playing 9 games, 6-0-3. The Bruins are playing Havak in goal vs Rask.

It will be nice to get the win outright, get 2 points and be just behind Washington and Philly by a point. I know it is early, but with only 56 games, games creep up quickly.

Go Bruins, get points

The Bs had their chances last game. Dug themselves a hole but managed to salvage a point, which says to me this Caps team is definitely beatable.

LFG Bs!!

Pre-Game Talk: - Game 9 - @ Washington -'It's deja vu all over again' - NESN, SN, TVAS, 98.5 WBZ-FM

@Dennis Bonvie I'm not suggesting that the Bruins' offense is horrible, not by any means. It's pretty capable, although as we all know it's been dominated by the top line for too long. My point is that it has a clear weakness against big, talented teams, has done for at least the last 3 years. Maybe my listed reasons as to why this is are wide of the mark, but the record in this regard speaks for itself. But it's not an insolvable problem, hence why I see games like tonight's as a great opportunity to learn and improve, although the amount of injuries at present don't help.
