About the kind of empty netter they deserve. A pathetic effort in this one.

It's a mix on where to put it. Matthews line was crap as a whole. Marleau and Kapanen especially were useless. Marner was **** in this game. Does he think he can spin around and throw the puck away and somehow it will magic itself into the net? Andersen let in a weak one, but got zero support. And the officials were vomit inducing. Couldn't bear to call something against the Penguins unless they had no other choice.

Pitt cheats like Boston does on defense by interfering just enough to not get a call. Notice that the man without the puck is used as a pick or lead "blocker". This is intentionally taught by the coach. That non-call high-stick against Hyman was a joke. That should be reviewable.

Something seemed off with the boys all night. Couldn't make simple passes, were beat to pretty much every loose puck, and a slight delay every scoring chance allowing Murray to get into position. Every single player seemed a little off.
