Tiebreakers - From NHL.com
1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the shootout.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

We have to win tonight. Washington has been playing horribly of late. Considering that Minny won last night, and PHX is getting WPG on a B2B after what happened last night... tonight is a must win.

Per Heika via Twitter ... Forward lines are the same, Lehtonen in net, and Nemeth is with Gonchar.

Can't underestimate Washington. They're a good team at home, have a deadly PP, and are desperate for points too. Gotta play smart.

Can't help but think the Caps had a good thing going with Eakin.

Backstrom-Grabovski-Eakin would've been a sick 1-2-3 center punch.

Oh well! I'll take Cody in Dallas.
We've got a pretty good streak going of getting teams to give us their promising young players. Will be interesting to see if it continues this summer.

As for tonight... for the love of God stay out of the penalty box. If this game is decided at even strength I like the Stars' chances.
