No Ristolainen for the Sabres.

Matthews is going to have himself a GAME. I can feel it

From Sabres Pre-GT -- I think Okposo could be back:

Player (injury, first game missed) – total games missed
Cody McCormick (blood clots, Oct. 13; injured reserve) – 74 games
Johan Larsson (wrist, Jan. 3; injured reserve) – 38 games
William Carrier (knee, Feb.4; injured reserve) – 24 games
Kyle Okposo (ribs, March 4) – 10 games
Dmitry Kulikov (upper body, March 5) – 9 games
Justin Falk (calf, March 16) – 4 games
Cody Franson (undisclosed) – 2 games
Taylor Fedun (foot) – 2 games

Rested game against a weaker opponent, keep the run going and keep banking points. The easier we make the very end of the season, the better.

If we win this, I'll feel like we've clinched #3 in Atlantic

I wish I had your optimism.....but I've been watching the Leafs for far too long, and have seen way too many things happen to them to be able to feel any security until the math says so.

With the way they've been playing since the Florida game, this should be a win.

Ever since 1989...

A win in this one would go a long way though. Some tough games coming up, so need to beat the teams we should beat.

Try 1969......

I believe they'll make the post season, but I don't believe anything will be clinched with a win tomorrow like the poster I quoted.

In the end winning this one would be another nice step. Just continue to move forward and try to leave the teams behind us in the dust.

Have to play well for the last 9 games.

Plus it frankly would just be enjoyable to win a convincing one in Buffalo. Should be a pretty hyped building. Considering the situation I could see even more Leaf fans making the trip down there than normal.

Beat the teams you should and win as much as possible against the tougher teams.

You choose to be worried about nothing, I choose to KNOW we are in because Babcock won't allow them to fall out.

Andersen is 6-1 against Buffalo in his career with a .939 SV and 1.59 GAA. 2 of those are with the Leafs. We won our game against them in Buffalo. This is game #2/3 in Buffalo.

A win would be fantastic but I think we'll fair better than most think in the final 4 games of the season. The Leafs have an 11-6-4 record against the Metro division and have at least split the season series with all 3 of Columbus, Washington, and Pittsburgh with a win and a loss against each. They're also going to be motivate to hold on to their divisional playoff spot and try to nab home ice if they can get within striking distance of one of Ottawa or Montreal.
